Overview
Mountain gorilla trekking is one of the most moving wildlife experiences in Africa. Deep within the misty forests of Rwanda and Uganda, you can come face to face with a family of wild mountain gorillas. It is an encounter that is humbling, unforgettable, and deeply personal.
Although gorilla trekking is not possible in Tanzania, it is easily combined with a Tanzanian safari as a short flight extension. This makes it the perfect add-on for those seeking both the drama of the savannah and the mystery of the mountains.

- Expect 1 to 5+ hours of hiking depending on the gorilla family location.
